TeamCharliesAngels is a team of people and businesses who raise money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The National Multiple Sclerosis Society is dedicated to ending the devastating effects of multiple sclerosis. This website is a means to communicate among all the team members and allow them to have current information about the MS Walk. |
| These friends and acquaintances of Charlie Kravetz, his family and friends participate in the MS Walk annually to provide funds for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The MS Walk is one of two large fund raising events held by the MS Society annually. Through these fundraisers, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society is able to assist multiple sclerosis victims and their families, as well as fund research to cure this disease. |
| The money raised by this team is donated to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society which uses the money to assist multiple sclerosis victims and their families, as well as research to try to end this disease. The Society funds more ms-related research; distributes more information; encourages more advocacy; and provides more programs for people with multiple sclerosis, their families, and the health care providers who serve them than any other ms organization in the world. Approximately 78% of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society's combined expenses are devoted to research, programs that actively help people with ms and their families, and to public and professional education; 22% is invested in the MS Society management and the expenses of fund raising. Seventy cents of every unrestricted dollar stays in the community where it was raised. |
